Teaching for Learning in Applied Education Certificate Program
University College of the North partners with Red River College to offer the Teaching for Learning in Applied Education (TFL) program. The program focuses on entry-level skills instructors need to be effective teaching adults in an applied learning environment. This program supports research that suggests knowledge and skills related to teaching for learning as well as subject area expertise are integral to student, instructor and institutional success. Upon successful completion of this program, students will be awarded a post-graduate certificate from Red River College.

The program is a condition for employment for UCN college instructors (as per the UCN collective agreement Article 54). However, all faculty and staff may be eligible to enroll.
